Bluebird works with private hospitals in Southern Africa to provide the following benefits to their:

Patients:

Single sign on - patient details captured once only - either at doctor, at pathologist, at radiologist, or on admission...not again and again and again!!

Doctors:

Bluebird's fully integrated Billing and EMR can be specific to a hospital - this accomplishes 2 things:
 1. Removes the administration load from supporting doctors and allows them to concentrate on practicing medicine.
 2. By helping remove drudgery, the hospital encourages their supporting doctors to remain loyal to the hospital (where all their patient notes, images and labs are archived).

Patient notes are always available - in theatre, on the ward, in the ER.

Nursing Staff:

Time spent filing and following up test results is eliminated.
In the ICU, pathology flow sheets are auto-generated.

Radiologists and other specialists working with images:

Bluebird's PACS and radiology workflow solutions not only distribute images throught the hospital it also makes those images available remotely to consulting specialists.
